Cassettes from Sram is found in different qualities, the more expensive the longer it holds, make sure to choose a chain of the same quality, or else this theory wont hold.

Mounting:

The cassette is placed over your rear hub, and is attached with a locking ring, at last you buckle it with a cassette removal tool.
